Introducing the Summer 2019 Collection
Our new collection of t-shirts were designed with European wildlife in mind. For Summer 2019, we wanted to focus mainly on the awe-inspiring wildlife that us guys at Altitude and Trails are obsessed with! We’ve got three big game options, including a white tail for our North American and Finnish friends, and a ptarmigan too! These designs are available exclusively in our Altitude and Trails shop. We’ve got three colors right now: black, grey, and navy blue. Let’s take a closer look at each one:
A most challenging game animal - the chamois is quick and nimble on the rocky cliffs of the Alps and can disappear at the drop of a hat if it gets the faintest whiff of you nearby. It’s hooked devil’s horns make for an elegant souvenir if you’re lucky enough to land one of these apex masters!
A popular yet tricky hunt across Europe, the roe deer is small in size and as a target, making it one of the hardest big game to harvest as a bowhunter. It’s short, pearled antlers and sharp barks makes it unique amongst deers. Weighing in at around 25kg (55 lb), a nice, mature roe buck results in some hard earned, well worthy jerky!
Descended from just one single white-tail buck and four does caught and transported from Minnesota to Finland in 1934, there is now a thriving population of 100,000 white-tail deer which can be hunted in Scandinavia. These animals can be thought of as a symbol of how sustainable hunting and conservation go hand-in-hand.
Queen of the Alps. A difficult, yet rewarding bird to hunt.
Pick your passion: Chamois, Roe Buck, White Tail, or Ptarmigan; we’re sure you’ll be happy!
PURPOSE
At Altitude and Trails, we believe that form and function need to be equal partners. Our shirts not only look great, but they’re made to perform well too. It’s why we chose the 100% polyester Exxt Activ as our canvas. We wanted a shirt that would feel great while relaxing in the backyard or while backpacking up in the mountains. Davide, Giogio, and Jawi all gave their personal seals of approval while battle-testing these shirts up in the Italian Alps. These shirts wick away sweat and fend off odors to keep you Fresh and Clean no matter the situation.

Paper To Print
Each design was conceptualized by Francesco and hand drawn by his father - Italian artist Giuseppe Formisano. The shirts are then transposed onto traditional silkscreen blocks and each shirt is manually printed by hand. Like our hunting style, the way we design and print our shirts is old-school, rustic, and every individual one a labour of love resulting in no two shirts being the same.
Why so long?
“You can’t rush art” - The Cleaner.
Nothing we craft is mass produced. Everything is painstakingly dealt with one shirt at a time - our printers aren’t automatons working round the clock. Every part of our process requires real people doing real work.
Your shirt will be printed in Malaysia and shipped from either Malaysia or France depending on existing availability and shipping rates. Our price is the same regardless of whether you’re in Paris, Texas or Paris, France. If you’re in a part of the world we don’t typically service and can’t find your country in the drop down list - don’t worry and contact us at our support link at the bottom of the page. We’ll try to work something special out for you.
Why not China?
There’s nothing wrong with China, but our goal is to provide you the best shirt possible. We can only do that if we control every part of the process - from the design to the print - and we’ve got an internal team in Malaysia that can help us make it possible. The downside is slower shipping, but from our viewpoint - a great shirt 2 weeks later is better than a not-so-great shirt now.
Our shirts have been carefully chosen to work from the field to the futon. We can’t manufacture this stuff anywhere but Malaysia. We hope you understand.
